Diet Balance For Maximum Fitness19.5.06
Diets come and go like the wind. Atkins, South Beach, Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers...Can you remember any of them? Great marketing leads...Or often misleads people into the false sense of security that only one diet will suffice. Balance is the key to a good healthy diet. Lately, I have been working hard to try and shed weight and get back into competitive sports. The last couple of weeks, although I have slipped on occasions, (who's perfect right? There is nothing wrong with a cheat day here and there) my diet has begun to resemble somewhat of the Mediterranean variety, plenty of fish, salads in olive oil, not so much fruits (which is a staple of this kind of diet...I know I'm bad) etc... My diet, is going to be different to the next man or women, because I have different needs and different goals. Overall, the main thing that one should remember when seeking out a diet that is right for them, is that the diet suits their goals, makes them feel good and fuels their energy requirements for the day, and for play. We must also note that a good balanced diet should appeal to a persons lifestyle.
