One of my favorite treats during the lunch time hustle and bustle of the city is a smoothie or a juice. Supposedly, the Amazonian tribes have been utilizing Acai for a very long while and findings from many scientific studies suggest it contains some of the following properties to maximize health and athletic performance:

The company who sells Acai here in Australia is Amazon Power. Liz has asked me to buy it on my next trip to my favorite juice bar.
